I am a pink girl . Every since I was little, pink has been my favourite colour. As a young teen, I painted my bedroom and all my furniture pink (much to my mother’s horror). I also had pink curtains.
In the 70s, I could be seen looking very dapper in my pink and purple coordinates.
As a consequence, pink roses are, hands down, my favourites. I especially love soft pink old world roses. Continue reading

What’s in a name? At first I was confused. I could only find Goldmarie 84 in my rose book which claimed that it was synonymous with Goldmarie BUT so did the label for my Goldmarie 82. I then read that Goldmarie was bred in 1982 and released in 1984 and the registered name is Goldmarie 82 Continue reading
I chose Hot Cocoa because of its unusual colour. It is unique in that regard. The catalogues describe it as smoky chocolate orange or, alternatively, as deep rust. I would go with a velvety brick red. Continue reading
