Grace is a David Austin rose. It is a member of the Leander Group (Leander is one of Austin’s earliest introductions). All roses in the group have Aloha (bred by Boerner in 1949) as the foundation parent. David Austin advises that Grace is one of the most beautiful in the Leander Group.
Grace’s blooms are apricot in the centre and a pale peachy pink on the edge. The blooms are at first cupped, then open to form a rosette with reflexed outer petals.
The bush is healthy and vigorous. It grows to about 1 – 1.5 metres tall.
As with most David Austin roses, it has a lovely perfume.
David Austin recommends planting Grace alongside Golden Celebration which is taller but, otherwise, has similar growth. Golden Celebration has yellow flowers.

What beautiful pictures – and a beautiful rose 🙂
What beautiful pictures – and a beautiful rose. I don’t think I’d heard of the Grace variety before but it’s gorgeous.
Our friends have a daughter named Grace, I must tell them about this. It’s very beautiful, Glenda! x
Hi Celia. That is lovely. I wish there was a rose called Celia, just for you!
Oh, I wish there was too! And you know me, if there was, I’d have a garden full of them..hahahaha! 🙂
